Nicola Knobel
Nicola Knobel is the Head of Safety, Risk and Assurance at a national charity in New Zealand, where she leads organisational safety, strategic risk, and assurance. Her career spans health and safety leadership, risk governance, psychosocial risk, organisational culture, and people centred system design. Nicola holds a Master of Laws with a focus on health and safety and employment, and has worked across government, not for profit, and community health environments.
Her lived experience as an AuDHD woman informs her approach to neuroinclusive practice and the design of systems that support cognitive diversity. She regularly works with executives and Boards to lift assurance capability, and simplify organisational controls.
Nicola is also a speaker and writer on neurodiversity, psychosocial risk, and the future of work. She has presented at national safety and leadership events and contributes thought leadership across multiple platforms.
